What actually happens
Trivia starts in the Playground. There is no house question bank to fall back on, which is the whole point. You write every question and choose how it gets answered: one right option, several right options, or free text that gets graded on what people type.
On the night, each question lands on every phone at once. The clock starts, answers come in, and the fastest correct ones take the most points. The board reshuffles before the next question loads.
Because the set is about your company, your wedding, or your community, it stops being a generic quiz and starts being about the people in the room. That is the difference between a polite nod and a table shouting at each other.

A live leaderboard tracks your score across all rounds
Be fast and accurate. Scoring is weighted by speed: instant correct answers score most, last-second saves score least, wrong answers score zero. The leaderboard updates after every round, and the highest total wins.
While you host
Once Trivia is running, the scoring, the leaderboard, and the ending are handled. You get to be in the room instead of behind a spreadsheet.

Final scores after fifteen questions
A code goes on your screen. People point a camera at it, type a name, and they are in. No app, no accounts, no one asking what the wifi password is.
Answers are marked as they land and the board updates between rounds. You are not holding a clipboard, and nobody is arguing about who said it first.
Top three on the big screen at the end, and every player gets their own result card on their phone that they can save or send to the group chat.
The same session works with everyone around one table, everyone on a video call, or half and half. Nobody has to be in the right place to join in.

Company all-hands
A People Ops lead writes a set about the last quarter: the wins, the new joiners, the running jokes from Slack. At the all-hands she casts the host view and splits the company into teams. The exec who never speaks up turns out to know every launch date. The new starter wins the round about company history she was not around for. People learn the company without a single slide.
Wedding reception
Between dinner and the first dance, the MC opens a set the couple wrote together: where they met, the disastrous first date, the dog's full legal name. Tables compete from their phones. The groom's side learns things the bride's side has always known, and every table is talking before the dancing starts.
Restaurant quiz night
A venue builds a quiz night around local landmarks, regulars, and the neighbourhood's history. Free text for the hard ones, multiple choice for the rest. Because it is custom, the table that has lived on the street for thirty years finally has an edge, and the quiz becomes the reason they come back on a Tuesday.

How Trivia plays
Every set is written by you. Run it solo on the leaderboard, or huddle the room into teams and let them argue before they submit.
People point their camera at the code on your screen, type a name, and they are playing. Nothing to download, nothing to sign up for, and it works the same whether they are in the room with you or dialled in from three time zones away.
Best for: virtual sessions, hybrid offsites, and any crowd big enough that you want everyone answering at once.
